Norm has gained sound management and consulting experience from a diverse career profile, and leads our multi-disciplinary consulting teams. He has held the corporate lead role (principal-in-charge) on many of the firm’s most significant projects. Norm brings a rare union of technical experience and practicality to create unique solutions that are sensitive to needs of the end user.

Amy is a director at KAL with a strong background in construction administration and project management who has been practicing architecture for over 25 years. Amy leads the collaboration between KAL’s specialist disciplines and encourages a positive project team environment with clients, sub-consultants and colleagues alike.

Joe has extensive project management experience spanning nearly 20 years on significant capital projects including educational facilities, water treatment plants, road works and infrastructure, and environmental processes. Joe’s focus on clear lines of communication, budget management, schedule prioritization, and effective solutions, assist in successful project delivery.

With a background in civil engineering, and over 20 years of experience, Kelly’s expertise lies in building envelope remediation, moisture management, structure, and coordination of multiple trades. Kelly is an engaged team leader who actively shapes our team’s essential understanding of building science ensuring projects deliver healthy, comfortable, durable, and efficient buildings.

LEAD CIVIL ENGINEER
Carson joined KAL with a wealth of practical experience to lead the civil engineering team. He is an engineer who thrives on projects in challenging environments with divergent priorities and multiple interest holders. Carson has proven success in directing land development projects, earth fill dam construction, and mining projects.

SENIOR WATER & WASTEWATER ENGINEER
Leila has over 12 years of experience in municipal and industrial water and wastewater treatment, supporting clients in identifying practical and reliable treatment solutions for a wide range of water and wastewater challenges. Her experience includes process optimization, treatment system evaluation, proposal development, commissioning support, and operational troubleshooting. -

Andrew Jewell, PMP
PROJECT MANAGER
Andrew is a key contributor at KAL with over 20 years of experience and excellent skillsets for managing challenging projects. Andrew’s previous projects cover a wide range of areas including sewage and water systems; roads/bridges; subdivisions; site development for commercial and institutional projects; stormwater management; and material testing.

Kevin has over 20 years of architectural experience, working through all phases of development on corporate, institutional and private sector projects. Kevin is a skilled designer with a thorough knowledge of codes and building systems, and who works closely with our subconsultants to meet your project goals.

Rebecca is a skilled technologist with a dedicated focus in coordinating the architectural design with the engineering disciplines. Rebecca displays particular expertise in architectural detailing, and she enjoys the challenges of preliminary design and block planning to optimize your building layout and efficiency.

SENIOR TECHNICIAN
With over 25 years of experience, Andreas works efficiently in our multi-disciplinary environment where he provides design, site inspection and various other technical duties. Andreas maintains a crucial role in our material testing operations, and is actively involved as a senior technician on site development and infrastructure construction projects.

Joshua Miller
SENIOR ARCHITECTURAL SPECIALIST
Working alongside our senior professional architects and engineers, Josh has sound project management skills and provides architectural and design services. Josh has developed particular expertise in project management and contract administration, and has assumed a key role on several of KAL’s bridging and compliance consulting projects under the supervision of a senior engineer.

With a grounding in engineering, Lem coordinates the flow of communications on many of KAL’s building science and design projects. He ensures the completeness of the project record so that all relevant information is available to the project team. Lem’s focus on sound project management, budget control and schedule prioritization will lead to the successful outcome of your project.

Ravi Sankar, E.I.T.
PROJECT ENGINEER ASSISTANT
Ravi is diligent and dedicated toward his work, in the office and in the field. Upon joining KAL, he conducted site visits on a full-time basis under the supervision of KAL engineers and senior staff. Ravi’s role has since expanded to encompass a wider range of responsibilities including contributing to design drawings and specifications, conducting site investigations, and supporting planning activities.

OFFICER MANAGER & PRINCIPAL
As KAL’s comptroller, Lisa manages the firm’s accounts and maintains our administrative systems. Lisa’s role is integral to the office where she oversees staff and office activities, and provides human resource management.

With a foundation in Arts & Interior Design, Kayla’s goal is to meet the client’s aesthetic and interior design goals with detail in mind. She commits to the evolution of each design project. Kayla works with KAL’s project team and clients to identify needs and get results which offer up exciting, meaningful and well-planned environments where users thrive.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Lulu is responsible for carrying out administrative duties, monitoring project workflow, as well as preparing monthly project accounts and invoices. Lulu ensures the smooth daily operation of the office and verifies that staff security clearances are maintained in good order.
